Privacy & Cookie Policy

This policy explains, in plain words, what personal data Ishwra collects through ishwra.in, why, where it goes, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it. Ishwra is a digital agency run by Kunaal Bhargava from Chandigarh, Mohali, Punjab 140507, India. For your personal data, Ishwra is the "Data Fiduciary" under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

The short version: we only collect what you type into our forms or send us yourself, we use it only to reply to you and work on your project, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

1. What we collect, and when

We collect personal data only when you choose to give it to us:

• Contact form (Contact page): your name, phone number, email address, city, subject and message, the tab you chose (Project Enquiry or Technical & Ops) and your tick agreeing to this policy.
• Start a Project (project brief): your name, email address, phone number, company name and website, and your answers about the project, such as goals, current problems, timeline and budget.
• Instant Estimate (website cost calculator): your name, email address, phone number and company, and your answers about the website you need, used to work out the estimate.
• When you contact us directly by phone, WhatsApp or email: whatever you choose to tell us, and your number or address.

We do not ask for passwords, payment card details, government ID numbers or health information, and you do not need an account to use the website. The forms contain a hidden field and a timing check to stop spam robots; neither stores anything about you.

2. Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry, by email, phone or WhatsApp, as you prefer.
• To prepare a proposal, an estimate or a quotation for your project.
• To plan and deliver the work if you become a client, and to keep records of what was agreed.
• To keep the website and our inbox safe from spam and misuse.

We rely on your consent, which you give by sending a form (and, on the Contact page, by ticking the box), and on the steps needed to respond to a request you made. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising. We will not add you to a newsletter or mailing list without asking first.

3. Where it is stored, and who else is involved

• Google: the three forms send your answers through a Google Apps Script, which emails them to our inbox (kunaal@ishwra.in) and may keep a copy in a Google Sheet in our own Google account. Google (Google LLC) stores this data on its servers, which may be outside India.
• WhatsApp (Meta): if you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy.
• Our web host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) to run and protect the website.
• Fonts, animation libraries and images: all of these are now stored on and served from our own web host (ishwra.in). No third-party font, script or image service receives your IP address when you browse the website.
• Facebook and Instagram: our profile links simply open those sites; nothing is shared until you click.

We may also disclose data if Indian law, a court or a government authority requires it.

4. Cookies and browser storage

ishwra.in uses no advertising cookies and no analytics or tracking tools at the moment. Your browser keeps three small items so the website works the way you expect:

• ishwra_cookie_consent (local storage): remembers whether you chose "Accept All" or "Decline" on the cookie banner, so we do not ask again.
• Preloader flag (session storage): remembers that you have already seen the opening animation on the Home page during this visit. It is deleted when you close the tab.
• ishwra_home_scroll (session storage): remembers where you were on the Home page, so the page returns you there when you come back. It is deleted when you close the tab.

None of these contain your name, email or anything you typed into a form, and none are shared with anyone. If we ever add analytics, it will only run after you choose "Accept All", and we will update this policy before we do. You can clear or block these items at any time in your browser settings; the website will still work.

5. How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not become projects: kept for up to 24 months after our last conversation, then deleted.
• Clients: kept for as long as we work together and afterwards for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires us to keep project and billing records.
• You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time (see section 7).

6. How we protect it

Your form answers travel over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and are stored in our own Google account (our Gmail inbox and a Google Sheet). Only Ishwra, and people working on your project with us, can open them. No method of storage or transfer is completely secure, but if a breach ever affected your personal data, we would tell you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.

7. Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can:

• Ask what personal data we hold about you and how we have used it.
• Ask us to correct, complete or update it.
• Ask us to delete it, and withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it).
• Nominate a person to exercise these rights for you in case of death or incapacity.
• Raise a grievance with us, and if you are not satisfied with our answer, with the Data Protection Board of India.

Write to us from the email address or phone number you used with us. We reply within 24 hours and complete your request within 30 days.

8. Children

This website is meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their details, tell us and we will delete them.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data (for example, if we add analytics), we will update this page and the effective date at the top before the change takes effect.
